The entire range of both Healthbeds’ and Smeaton Brothers beds conform to the most stringent flame resistance regulations, and are put through our own rigorous quality control and inspection procedures, so that you can be assured of the ultimate in health and safety.

It is important that the fabric used in the manufacture of your bed not only looks attractive, but also performs a valuable role in the overall function and quality of the bed.
Healthbeds’ mattress fabrics are specially selected for their advanced properties and include knitted stretch fabrics with Temperature Control, Moisture retention, anti-dust mite protection, and allergy reduction.
Healthbeds’ mattresses are designed with no roll-off, reinforced edge supports to ensure total comfort and provide extra sleeping area. They also improve upon the flow of air and moisture through the mattress allowing the whole bed to breathe.
Healthbeds’ mattress interiors have a full and varied range of support options because we know the importance of a Good Night’s Sleep.
Environment
We are committed to improving upon our eco-credentials where-ever possible and have to date implemented solar-panels on our factory and offices, and maintain our very own 24 acre site of ancient woodland.
All of the natural blended fibres that we use are sourced in Yorkshire so that we may reduce upon the impact of 02 emissions caused by transportation.
It is our goal to achieve Zero to landfill across the entire Healthbed range in the not too distant future.

The good news is that Healthbeds have mattresses that provide the correct types of support, and some are specially treated with anti-dust mite protection (ADP) to try to ensure a dust mitefree mattress, to create an allergen free environment.

We use only the finest materials, with each bed being individually produced and tested at every stage of production to ensure the highest standards are achieved in our state of the art, purpose built factory in Rotherham.
